Can MidwifeBLUE be my midwife?

MidwifeBLUE is a service that provides support and education only. We are here to offer additional emotional/mental support in conjunction with your regular healthcare provider. MidwifeBLUE is not currently offering office visits or attending births - we are present in a supportive role only. If you do not yet have a medical provider we are happy to help you find one that suits your specific needs and desires.

What if I’m not pregnant?

You don’t have to be pregnant to access MidwifeBLUE services. We offer one-on-one support during medical visits, in-office procedures, or general support for those a woman who finds herself in need of a supportive ear during a difficult life or health experience. We have also created many educational opportunities for women in the form of group, private, and personalized sessions. Our purpose is the empowerment of women. We are here for any woman, anywhere, anytime. We aim to help women find a voice in their healthcare for a better and healthier experience.

What exactly is MidwifeBLUE?

MidwifeBLUE is a concierge service offering support services and educational opportunities. We offer women the tools that they need to empower themselves in the healthcare setting. As a midwife with 10 years of experience, Ashlee has seen and understands the gaps left between the physical/medical and emotional healthcare of women and her goal is to bridge it.

Our concierge support services are meant to provide the extra attention and emotional care that some women desire during pregnancy, postpartum, or a particularly difficult healthcare episode.

Our educational opportunities include group, individual, and personalized sessions. We focus on topics meant to educate women about their minds and bodies, thus planting the seeds of empowerment for women in the healthcare setting. We believe that it is time for women to expect respect and thoughtful care from their providers.

We know that education creates knowledge and knowledge is power.

It is through knowledge and unconditional support that MidwifeBLUE seeks to facilitate that empowerment of any and every woman. Anywhere and in any healthcare setting. Anytime, day or night.

That’s perfect! We are here to educate, support, and empower all women in all forms of healthcare.
